Challenge

Viki, the owner of Hunglish wanted to increase customer footfall in her new zero-waste store in the heart of Brighton, and bring the joy of the shop’s products to curious passers by. The windows needed to put a smile on peoples faces and encourage them to explore the store and all it has on offer, without hiding too much of the inside.

solution

Wanting to bring as much colour and energy to the windows of Hunglish as possible, to entice new customers in and help Hunglish make it’s mark as the go-to zero-waste store in central Brighton, I created a suite of joyful icons to cover the windows with. The hand painted shapes wrap around the 13m long shop front, leading the eye to the doors of the store. Not forgetting the core message representing the ethos of Hunglish – β€˜Be the person David Attenborough wants you to be’.
